I'm a 22-year-old cybersecurity engineer from the U.S. whose life has been shaped by travel and experiencing different places, people, food, and culture. Travel has played a fundamental role in how I see the world and approach life.

I loveto travel. But every time I try to plan a trip on a budget I run into the same wall. “Budget travel” blogs that open twelve tabs and answer nothing. Sites that ask for your email before showing a single price. Tools that rank results by commission instead of value, then bury the information you actually needed behind noise designed to keep you clicking.

The problem was never affiliate links — every travel site uses them, and that's fine. The problem was sites that used them dishonestly. So I built Pocket Travel Agent to do it differently: the agent gives you the real answer, including when booking direct through the airline or hotel beats every third-party site. When you're ready to book, you pick the partner and go. If you book through one of those links, I earn a small commission — that's how I keep the lights on. But it will never change what I tell you.
